They are Gods instructions to us on how to stay healthy in this flesh. I follow these instructions and remain a pretty healthy 52 yr old woman. Some want to argue about Peter or the scripture in Timothy4, but Peter never ate those scavengers and the message from God was not to call any man common,..and in Tim 4:3 it states , which God hath created to be received....Unclean animals were not created to be received, but I'm thankful for those that are. Some like to argue about the pig and say it's ok, but if you read Lev. 11 and read the other unclean animals, I doubt if they'd eat most of them. We are now under Grace. However if you do not accept Jesus it does not matter you are lost. Law can not save anyone.
