Bible based diet-is this the newest thing?

by Admin on August 4, 2006

bible diet
.::rainbow armadillo::. asked:

I looked at some of the information, I was curious as to what it was all about….not much is told about it except what it can supposedly do for you…and then you can pay $250 for a starter kit and you must sign up for classes…I hope some of the morbidly obese people in my state sign up for this and lose weight…

But why so much money? I did the same thing the woman talks about, losing weight, getting off anti-depressants, quitting smoking, etc. all on my own…and it cost me nothing…

No, the bible said to do all things in moderation!

Well, you can also buy books about Bible based diets in the supermarket checkout like for about $10 where I live. I sure hope those people who want $250 give you some food or something in your starter kit.

Just another scam, Sybil. Put a religious slant on it and they come flocking like lambs to the slaughter.

I, too have been able to lose weight, kick a drug habit, stop drinking, etc., and not for a moment did I have *god* standing by my side. It’s all about strength of character.

Congratulations on your own successes.

The bible has lots of fiber but not many calories. A good diet to just eat the pages of the bible. hehe. Makes good toilet paper too!

It’s a scam, like many other diet plans. The amount of money charged is proof enough of that.

If it were REALLY a “Bible-based” diet, you could find out everything you needed to know for it in any hotel room!

When will people learn that you just need to exercise and eat right. All these diets show how pathetic the consumers are, who think they can take an easy way out by starving themselves and gaining it all back a month later.

I have read the Weigh Down diet book –it looks pretty good.
But I really like the Lose It For Life program. Just type in Lose It for Life on Google

I wouldn’t trust anything that is bible based. You don’t need a musty old book filled with moronic BS to get and stay healthy. I think that the christians are getting desperate for money to pay the victims of their child molesting priests. Don’t be a sucker.

Sounds like a rip off to me .
You know the bible talking about learning about god states you received for free you should give for free. Maybe it is wise to eat right and look after your god given body but i think the same principle would apply
Remember Jesus getting angry at the temple with the people making money at the steps of the temple

I have never heard of this.
